thinnest mechanical Replica Bell&Ross watches

Vacheron Constantin is really the unsung hero among high end dress Replica Bell&Ross watches , all too often falling in the shadow of Patek. Imagine if a watch company would celebrate its 200th anniversary in the coming year. That’s a pretty damn old company, that still however couldn’t hold a candle to VC. Vacheron decided to celebrate their bicentennial (this is in 1955, mind you) by introducing the thinnest watch available at the time, the Patrimony.Fans of understated dress watches will be glad to know that Vacheron are releasing two watches commemorating the company’s past. The first, the Historique 1955, is a hand-wound affair that measures 36mm wide and is only 4,1mm – *** it the thinnest mechanical Replica Bell&Ross watches available. The original movement, the caliber 1003, is only 1,64mm!Its cousin, the Historique 1968, is slightly heftier at 5,5mm thick. It is also an automatic, which is probably the reason for the added weight. The caliber 1120 movement, like its manual cousin, is made out of 18K for some reason (why not?). Expect a late Christmas unveiling in January.

Famed Brit motorcyle marque Triumph unveiled two special new Bonnevilles recently, the 2010 Thruxton SE and a one-off Bonneville Heuer designed in conjunction with TAG Heuer in tribute to the great Steve McQueen. The Thruxton SE (above), the sportiest of Triumph’s iconic Bonnevilles, gets a snappy Crystal White paint job with a single red stripe, matching red powdercoated frame and black engine cases. The makeover is purely aesthetic; it’s 865cc parallel-twin powerplant, with 68 hp and 51 lb-ft of torque, remains true to form. The Bonneville Heuer meanwhile is painted in the King of Cool’s orange and blue racing colors, echoing the livery of the Porsche 917 McQueen drove in the famous 1971 racing flick Le Mans. McQueen wore TAG Heuer’s now-iconic square-faced Monaco Replica Bell&Ross watches in the movie, which TAG recently re-issued in celebration of the timepiece’s 40th anniversary. The Bonneville model was born in 1959 to recognize Johnny Allen’s land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats, and the rest as they say was motorcycle history.
